The Uxbridge-Scott Agricultural Society (also known as The Uxbridge Fair Board) is a group of volunteers made up of people from all walks of life who are dedicated to celebrating our agricultural roots while recognizing all our present day advancements.
A lot has changed over the 154 years that the Uxbridge Fall Fair has provided a venue for the local rural and urban populations to join in celebration of our agricultural accomplishments. The one thing that has not changed is the responsibility of the Agricultural Community to provide the essentials of life, predominantly food, to the entire community.
Our theme this year, “Farm Gate to Dinner Plate” intends to show our appreciation to our farmers for all the hard work they do to provide all these essentials of life.
Without the wonderful agricultural community that surrounds us, we could have very empty dinner plates!
When you come to the Fair to enjoy the sight, sounds, midway rides, Tractor Pull, Demolition Derby and various shows, please spend some time watching our young people proudly showing their dairy and beef calves, dairy goats or sheep. Take a look at the grains, vegetable and flowers exhibits in the brown barn. Check out the Homecraft Building as there are plenty of youth exhibits in all categories. These young exhibitors are our future farmers, gardeners, cooks, bakers, all supplying us with life’s essentials.
Also check out the Agricultural Awareness tent with all its exhibits, interactive stations and demonstrations.
Please join our celebration at the fair!
