Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year is the season’s most cherished greeting. As we celebrate this blissful yet sacred time of year, we also turn our thoughts to the future, yearning for the prosperity and peace that will come with it. The Christmas season is one of the most inspiring and joyful celebrations we have.

It’s A Great Time To Take A Step Back And Reflect

The New Year is a great time to take a step back and reflect. This reflective period is the perfect opportunity for you to give yourself a pat on the back, so to speak. Make sure that you take this time to think about your goals and what you want out of life. For many people, they find that they accomplish their New Year’s resolutions quite effortlessly by taking this time off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to focus on themselves. You’ll be able to see the fruits of your labor from last year, consider what worked and what didn’t, and then set new goals for this upcoming year so that you can continue to grow in 2023.

It’s the New Year, So Let’s Celebrate!

2023 Annual General Meeting

Mark your calendar for the upcoming AGM in the new year. The agenda will include election of directors, approval of the annual report, and discussion of new initiatives for the coming year.

Thank You For A Wonderful 2022 Fair

The Uxbridge Fair Board of Directors, on behalf the volunteers, would like to thank everyone involved, for another successful year at Uxbridge Fair. We are especially grateful to our fair visitors for attending, our exhibitors for displaying their animals and handicrafts, our sponsors for supporting the fair financially, our concession vendors for supplying such a wide array of food and merchandise, the service clubs for their dedication and support, the Durham Regional Police, Emergency Services, Uxbridge Fire Department and EMT Mark Bird and Staff for their professionalism and care, and of course our many suppliers and business partners for their expertise and service. The Uxbridge Fair is truly a community event and we rely on our many stakeholders to ensure our annual tradition continues to be such an overwhelming success!

With spectacular weather for all days of the fair, our crowds enjoyed the ever-popular demolition derby, horse, cattle and other farm animal shows, homecraft, agriculture and horticulture exhibits, the thrills of the midway operated by World’s Finest Shows, the Cruise In Car Show, Tractor Pull, and all sorts of entertainment on stage and throughout the grounds. Young and old, families and friends, gathered to enjoy the 2022 Uxbridge Fair.

Plans are already underway for the 161st Uxbridge Fair to be held on September 8, 9, & 10, 2023, an annual tradition since 1862. Always the weekend after the Labour Day!
