{"id":6324,"date":"2022-05-31T15:54:14","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T19:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uxbridgefair.ca\/cna5\/?page_id=6324"},"modified":"2022-05-31T15:58:53","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T19:58:53","slug":"code-of-conduct","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uxbridgefair.ca\/code-of-conduct\/","title":{"rendered":"Code of Conduct"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Uxbridge Fair Code of Conduct<\/h2>\n<p><em>The Code of Conduct requires all members, all volunteers, all employees and vendor\/service providers to:<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Refrain from words, actions and behaviour \u2013 in any medium \u2013 that demonstrate disrespect for other members, volunteers, employees, service providers or customers.<\/li>\n<li>Uphold Uxbridge Fair reputation and integrity by ensuring that their conduct, whether in person, online, or otherwise, brings honour and dignity to the Uxbridge Fair.<\/li>\n<li>Be vigilant in ensuring an environment that is safe and protects members, volunteers and employees from emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse.<\/li>\n<li>Respect other members\u2019, volunteers\u2019 and employees\u2019 rights to privacy and the confidentiality of their personal information,.<\/li>\n<li>Act with honesty and integrity when dealing with property, monies and any other assets belonging to the Uxbridge Fair.<\/li>\n<li>Respect and abide by the laws of Canada and of the relevant Province or Territory.<\/li>\n<li>Treat members, volunteers, employees and customers fairly, knowing that the Uxbridge Fair does not tolerate unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, colour, religion, sex , age, mental or physical ability, political beliefs, socio-economic status, health-related status, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other grounds enumerated in the human rights legislation of the jurisdiction in which the individuals involved are located.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>In addition, Members and Employees will:<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Subscribe and adhere to the Uxbridge Fair bylaws, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill their roles and responsibilities as stated in their position descriptions (where applicable) and act within the limitations of their authority in the discharge of their duties.<\/li>\n<li>Diligently maintain the confidentiality of any information regarding the Uxbridge Fair that they have obtained in the course of performing their roles that is not generally available to the public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Uxbridge Fair reserves the right to take action regarding any breach of the Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uxbridge Fair Code of Conduct The Code of Conduct requires all members, all volunteers, all employees and vendor\/service providers to: Refrain from words, actions and behaviour \u2013 in any medium \u2013 that demonstrate disrespect for other members, volunteers, employees, service providers or customers.
