Historical Farming and Agriculture Display Area

As we resume holding a more traditional outdoor Fair, we are pleased to be able to present this display once again.

The purpose of the display will be to demonstrate, educate and display vintage farming and agricultural equipment.
Fair visitors will be able to see firsthand, how various equipment and techniques were used in farming, agriculture and food production. These are the roots to those processes used today.

All of these items are owned and presented by the volunteers on site. Please ask them as many questions as you need to, to understand the equipment and processes.

"A Celebration of Agriculture"

The Uxbridge Fair is celebrating this agricultural education pavilion again this year! It's a fantastic and popular attraction to visit with the whole family! The pavilion will showcase live animals to interact with, sheep shearing demonstrations on Saturday, goat milking demonstrations on Sunday, live virtual farm touring, and many more educational displays and activities to enjoy! We are so fortunate to have the support of agricultural commodities from across the province including Durham Farm Connections, Grain Farmers of Ontario, Farm and Food Care Ontario, Egg Farmers of Ontario, Beef Farmers of Ontario, Goat Farmers of Ontario, Durham Milk Committee, and Ontario Apple and Greenhouse Growers. It's a great opportunity to meet with farmers and agriculture members from your local community, as well! Be sure to visit the pavilion to learn about where our food comes from and celebrate agriculture!
