The Uxbridge Fair is more than just a three-day event—it’s a year-round community organization dedicated to preserving agricultural heritage and bringing people together. Operating under the Uxbridge and Scott Agricultural Society, a not-for-profit corporation, we create the forum where over 1,000 exhibitors showcase their achievements, 8,000 attendees gather to celebrate, and generations connect through competition, livestock shows, and entertainment.

Our organization is built on collaboration. A volunteer Board of 18 Directors guides our mission, supported by over 250 volunteers serving on 35 committees. At the heart of this effort is our small paid staff team—currently a Fair Manager and Fair Secretary—who provide year-round coordination and administrative support to make our annual event possible each September.

Working with the Uxbridge Fair means being part of something that matters to this community. You’ll support an organization where agriculture meets tradition, where volunteers pour their passion into creating memorable experiences, and where 120 dedicated people work together each year to transform Elgin Park into three days of competition, connection, and celebration.

If you’re organized, committed to community, and excited to play a vital role in a cherished local tradition, we’d love to hear from you.

Working closely with the Board of Directors, Committees, and volunteers, the Manager ensures that all aspects of the Fair run smoothly, safely, and in line with the Fair’s mission of celebrating agriculture, community, and tradition.
The Uxbridge and Scott Agricultural Society is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for the position of Fair Secretary. The Fair Secretary plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient administration and record-keeping for the Society.
