Canada’s most celebrated beatboxer brings his award-winning show to the Uxbridge Fair fairgrounds on Saturday, September 12.
Scott Jackson has spent over 15 years mastering the art of vocal percussion, recreating everything from squeaky door hinges to helicopter blades using nothing but his voice. A finalist on Canada’s Got Talent, Jackson left judge Martin Short in disbelief — Short remarked that he had no idea how Jackson was singing while making sound with just one set of vocal cords. scottjacksonbeatbox
Since his national breakthrough, Jackson has performed across 13 countries, voiced characters for Nickelodeon and Treehouse TV, and lent his sound to ad campaigns for Taco Bell and Old Spice. He’s shared stages with NBA and NHL halftime shows and performed for over 1,000 schools worldwide — but he got his start the same way many great performers do: in local talent shows and open mics.
Showtimes: Saturday, September 12 — 11:00 AM & 3:00 PM at the Bandshell
What to expect: A high-energy, family-friendly performance blending beatboxing, sound effects, music, and crowd interaction — the kind of show that has audiences of all ages trying (and failing) to figure out how one voice can do so much.
