The Uxbridge-Scott Agricultural Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Seniors Centre on Marietta Street in Uxbridge.
Registration
Doors open at 6:45 PM for registration and payment of membership dues. Membership is $10.00 for 2026.
What to Expect
All members welcome! At this important meeting, we will:
- Review the 2025 fair season and financial reports.
- Elect officers and directors for the coming year.
- Present Volunteer Member Service Awards
- Discuss plans for the 2026 fair, including our special 50th anniversary celebration of tractor pulling.
- Address member questions and feedback
Voting Eligibility
Only members in good standing with paid 2026 memberships will be allowed to vote in the election of officers and directors. Nominations to the Board closed on January 12, 2026.

Meeting Recap
The Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Uxbridge Seniors Centre with strong member attendance. The meeting covered the highly successful 2025 fair season and approved plans for the exciting 2026 season.
Financial Highlights
The 2025 fair season was financially exceptional, exceeding projections by a significant margin. Increased gate revenue due to favourable weather and strong midway performance contributed to the outstanding results. The 2026 budget was approved, with potential for additional entertainment expenses to enhance Sunday programming.
2026 Fair Theme Announced
The Tractor Pull Committee announced the 2026 fair theme: “Pulling Generations Together for 50 Years” – celebrating the 50th anniversary of tractor pulling at Uxbridge Fair. A special Thursday evening tractor pull event is being planned to mark this milestone.
Board Elections
Directors were elected for the coming year. The Society continues to maintain strong board representation across all committees.
