Uxbridge Fair Scavenger Hunt: Kids at the Fair, Everywhere Adventure (September 5-7, 2025)

Looking for a way to keep the kids entertained while exploring every inch of the Uxbridge Fair? Our “Kids at the Fair, Everywhere” scavenger hunt transforms your fair visit into an interactive adventure that gets children excited about discovering all the attractions, vendors, and activities throughout the grounds.

What Makes This Scavenger Hunt Special

This isn’t your typical treasure hunt. We’ve designed challenges that encourage kids to visit areas they might otherwise walk past—from the livestock barns to the craft exhibits, ensuring no corner of the fair goes unexplored.

Perfect for Young Fairgoers

  • Age range: Children 13 and under
  • Cost: Included with fair admission
  • Duration: Complete at your own pace throughout your visit

How the Scavenger Hunt Works

Getting Started: Every child receives their scavenger hunt card right at the entrance—no sign-up required. Each card features eight unique challenges designed around different fair locations.

Finding the Challenges: Look for our distinctive scavenger hunt signs posted throughout the fairgrounds. These markers indicate challenge stations where kids can:

  • Answer fun questions about exhibits
  • Complete simple tasks related to that area
  • Get their cards punched by volunteers

Tracking Progress: Children need to complete 7 out of 8 challenges to earn their prize. This flexibility means no stress if one station is too crowded or if little ones get tired.

Prizes That Make It Worth the Hunt

Winner’s Ribbon: Complete 7 challenges and head to the Bandshell to claim your official Uxbridge Fair ribbon—a keepsake that celebrates your exploration achievement.

Champion Button Ambitious adventurers can tackle bonus challenges printed on their cards to earn an exclusive Champion button alongside their ribbon.

Practical Details for Parents

Prize Redemption Location: The Bandshell (centrally located for easy access)

Extra Cards Available: Lost your card or have additional children joining? Extra scavenger hunt cards will be distributed at information booths throughout the fair.

Timing: The scavenger hunt runs during all fair operating hours throughout the September 5-7, 2025 weekend (Friday 5 PM-11 PM, Saturday 8 AM-11 PM, Sunday 8 AM-5 PM), so families can participate whenever it fits their schedule.

Why This Matters for Your Fair Experience

After organizing community events for over a decade, we’ve seen how scavenger hunts transform passive visitors into engaged explorers. Kids who might normally beeline for the midway end up fascinated by the heritage demonstrations or chatting with 4-H members about their animals.

Parents consistently tell us their children remembered details about exhibits weeks after the fair—proof that this hands-on approach creates lasting memories beyond the cotton candy and rides.
