All sheep to be on the grounds by 10 a.m. and remain until 4 p.m. or end of show (whichever is later).

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All general rules and regulations of the Fair apply.

2. Maximum of two entries per class. All entries must be owned and registered in the name of the exhibitor. Registration papers may be checked.

3. The following breeds must be shown in short fleece (staple less than 1"): Border Cheviot, Dorset, Hampshire, Oxford Down, Shropshire, Southdown and Suffolk.

4. All sheep exhibited must be healthy and free of contagious disease. The sheep committee, in consultation with a veterinarian, may disqualify and remove from the grounds any animal not deemed healthy.

5. Beginning with the 2018 Fair, if exhibitors pre-register by August 15, 2018, they will receive wristbands for entry into the Uxbridge Fair. 1 - 4 animals equals 3 one-day passes, 5+ animals equals 4 one-day passes. If you do not pre-register, Fair admission ($12) will be charged at the gate. Entry fee of 10% will be deducted from all prize winnings in adult classes.

6. All Livestock entries MUST include the Uxbridge Fair Premises ID # ON4232599.

7. A first place is awarded at the discretion of the judge.

S03 Any Other Breed: Long Wool

S04 Any Other Breed: Short Wool

Prizes: 1st: $35, 2nd: $25, 3rd: $15, 4th: $10, $5

S05 Suffolk

Prizes: 1st: $35, 2nd: $25, 3rd: $15, 4th: $10, $5

S06 Lincoln Longwool

Prizes: 1st: $35, 2nd: $25, 3rd: $15, 4th: $10, $5

Classes:

1. Ewe Two Tooth

Two central permanent incisors. Second pair of permanent incisors may be fully up.

Other two pairs of temporary incisors (milk teeth) must be firmly in place. Born and bred in Canada

$5 for each entry not placed

2. Ewe

Full Mouth Milk Teeth (all eight temporary incisors)

Born the property of the exhibitor

$5 for each entry not placed

3. Ram Two Tooth

5. Get of Sire

Born the propery of the exhibitor. Group of 3 animals, full mouth milk teeth, by the same sire.

6. Breeder's Flock

Bred and owned by exhibitor. Group of 4 animals. Both sexes to be represented.

Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the preceding classes. All animals in a group to be of one breed.

7. Junior Showmanship    Prize: $10
