RULES & REGULATIONS
1. The Federal Livestock Classifications 2024 will apply.
2. All pedigrees to be checked at the Fair.
3. Exhibitors to supply their own bedding.
4. Each breeding unit is allowed a maximum of 10 exhibits excluding the Breeder's Herd and Get of Sire classes and may show in all classes and in up to three classes. All exhibits must be owned and registered in the name of the exhibitor. Note exceptions in the Get of Sire and Breeder's Herd Classes.
5. Please read General Rules as they apply to Uxbridge.
6. Exhibitors must have Liability Insurance.
7. All exhibitors MUST pre-register in Assist Expo by September 1, 2024. Exhibitors bringing between 1 and 4 animals will be allowed free admission for up to 3 assistants. Exhibitors bringing 5 cattle or more will be allowed free admission for up to 4 assistants. If you do not pre-register, Fair admission will be charged at the gate.

Free wristbands may be picked up at the Fair office on Wednesday September 4 and Thursday September 5, between 6 and 9 pm.

Exhibitors who are out of town and cannot come to the Fair office on Sept. 4 or 5, must show their online entry printout for admission onto Fairgrounds, and can pick up their free wristbands at the Fair office after arriving on the day of competition.

Each Exhibitor entering one or more adult classes will be charged a single ehibitor fee of $5.00 this year!

8. All Livestock entries MUST include the Uxbridge Fair Premises ID # ON4232599.

B01 British Breeds

B02 Continental Breeds

Prizes: 1st: $45, 2nd: $35, 3rd: $25, 4th: $20, 5th: $15, $10

Bull Calf

Born on or after January 1, 2024

Minimum 3 months of age on day of judging

2.

Bull Yearling

Born April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023

3.

Bull Yearling

Born January 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2023

Champion Bull / Reserve Prizes: 1st: $50 and Rosette, 2nd: $25 and Rosette

4.

Female Calf

Born on or after January 1st, 2024

Minimum 3 months of age on day of judging

5.

Female Heifer

Born April 1st, 2023 to December 31st, 2023

6.

Female Heifer

Born January 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2023

7.

Female with Calf

Born between January 1st, 2022 and December 31st, 2022

With her own 2022 natural purebred, tattooed calf at foot. Female and calf shall be shown as a unit except that the calf shall be shown as a single animal in Breeder's Herd and Get of Sire classes

Female with Calf

Born prior to January 1st, 2022

With her own 2020 natural purebred, tattooed calf at foot. Female and calf shall be shown as a unit except that the calf shall be shown as a single animal in Breeder's Herd and Get of Sire classes

Champion Female / Reserve Prizes: 1st: $50 and Rosette, 2nd: $25 and Rosette

Breeder's Herd - Group of 4 animals bred by the exhibitor. Prize: UXBRIDGE-SCOTT AGRICULTURAL FAIR TROPHY

Both sexes represented, must be exhibited in previous classes.

At least one animal must be owned by the exhibitor. Limited to one exhibit per exhibitor.
A trophy will be awarded to the winner of the BEST HERD.

10.

Get of Sire - A group of 3 animals born from the same sire. Prize: W.J. Park Memorial Trophy

Both sexes represented, at least one animal owned by the exhibitor.

Animals must be shown in previous classes. Liimited to one exhibit per exhibitor.
The W.J. PARK MEMORIAL TROPHY will be awarded to the winner of this class.

11.

Junior Showmanship: Malcolm Bailey Memorial Trophy Prize: $5 and Malcolm Bailey Memorial Trophy

Open Class for children 10 years and under.

No membership required (4H members excluded). The Uxbridge-Scott Agricultural Society will pay $5.00 for all placings. The MALCOLM BAILEY MEMORIAL TROPHY will be awarded to the TOP SHOWMAN in this class.

How to Enter a Competition

Step 1

Find your exhibitor class and section in the online Fair Book.

Step 2

Click the link to our online entry form managed by AssistExpo.  Login if you have used this system previously.  If you are entering for the first time, you’ll need to register by completing your name and contact information.  In the AssistExpo form, complete your contest registration and follow the directions on screen. AssistExpo will generate an Exhibitor number for you.  Save this number with your username and password.

Step 3

Print or save your confirmation message.  Get your printed tags.  Remember the date and time when exhibits are to be delivered to the fair.
